Children start imagining things when they fail to figure out things. Every human being wants their unhappiness, sad feelings and depressive ideas to go away. The hard a child tries to figure things out the more he gets worried. Similarly, the more a person wants to let go sad and depressive feelings the more it increases.
Children battles with their thinking and feelings instead they should be taught to manage and overcome it.
Few tips are :-
Welcome your children to observe the weather. Teach your children about how weather changes, how the cloud comes and then go, tell them to see how huge, small or normal clouds are, how sun comes in the day and leave at night when the moon comes. Let them know, Teach them if a sun gives light and the moon and stars shine at night, similarly if negative and unpleasant feelings come, welcome them, manage them and find a solution, it will go away eventually and positive feelings will come too that will make you good about your life, that will make you happy.
Help your children to look at the neighboring environment and surroundings, educate them by telling them that everyone in the world has worries, they just learn to cop them and find the best in it, and also tell them what is going on around them. This will help them to realize that they’re not alone, this will give them the strength to stop worrying about the future problems and issues and the solutions to let go of it instead tell them that don’t think about the past because its already happened, you can’t undo it, but you got the experience that’s what matters you won’t make the same mistakes again, everyone learn from mistakes also don’t think about the days and the time that is yet to come, you can handle it when the time comes, because everything has its own time suggest them to relax, focus enjoy the present moment because time never comes back, we shouldn’t waste time thinking about negative points life is just too short, instead live your life, get all the pleasure you can get, make as many memories as you can, and pay gratitude for everything you have and live the life you have.
Suggest your children about their breathtaking, tell them to take deep breaths and slow breaths not to let sad and unpleasant feelings to go, but how to conquer them like how a ship survives during a stormy weather. If a ship can survive in a storm, you can also get out of worries, worrying too much will only have impact on your wonderful life and it also might affect your life, your health, disturb your routine and won’t let you focus on the happy time you want to spend.
When feeling convenient tell them about your worries or problems. Share it with them that you’re facing difficulties and having a hard time, but it doesn’t matter, if worries come they also go away. This way they’ll know that everyone have worries at some point, even adults and grownups have worries to, but with the passage of time we all learn to manage, control and handle it eventually. So, they can understand that don’t let worries take control of them, fight them and defeat them, and that we are all stronger than we think we are.
When a children goes through a tough or hard time or facing some difficulties, tell them to notice the plus and positive things going around them, they can play games, they have friends and family, pets and so many activities both indoor and outdoor.
Making a schedule or an agenda of your everyday life. When a child learns that everyone has difficulties, they come and they go, they should be calm and take long deep breaths before a meal, during their school homework and even before sleeping, they will feel relaxed and comfortable.
