I saw Dr Sadaqat Ali’s cover page and got inspired by this beautiful quote “You are amazing just the way you are, but you can improvise. Sky is the limit.” Which gave me a food for thought and an inspiration to share some of my views on this as well? Here are few of my ideas.
You must have come across the famous quote that we are all spiritual beings in human physical form. As a soulful essence, you and the rest of humanity are inherently, perfectly amazing just the way you are. However, you are experiencing a uniquely individual Earthly reality complete with a broad spectrum of emotions, values, beliefs, paradigms, personality traits, relationships, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all in a linear time fashion. Your soul entered this reality as the person you are with the situations and events you’ve dealt with in the past, the ones you are currently managing, and your future existence. If you examine yourself at this current phase in life, you may be able to determine areas from your past that you were able to improvise on. The key to continue on a personal development journey is to remain flexible and open to opportunities for individual growth and transformation. No matter where you are in life there is always room for progressive change and improvisation. Remembering that it is actually you and nobody else who can change you, you have a responsibility to look at yourself and make modifications in order to help reach you potential to the fullest. When you stay stuck in fear or rigid in old paradigms, beliefs, or actions, you may be restricting yourself from progressing further.
Even trying something different or new such as a vehicle route, wardrobe style, hair cut, makeup style or work out class can create great and exciting possibilities for improvement. Always affirm to yourself that you can do better because it is good itself which is the enemy of best. If one life aspect is in healthful equilibrium, then assess another to see what can be changed to foster increased harmony. Pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone of the same-old routine can increase self-esteem and awareness, reinforce your life’s purpose, and enhance your evolution in consciousness and human development. One also need to understand the fact is that change is a constant phenomenon, and is better if deliberate. You are not what you were ten years ago, you have changed. Some have become obese and some have become fit, but all have changed. Don’t you just love it when life gives you exactly what you need? Sometimes, the shifts will never happen unless from a space of necessity rather by choice. We can try and want to change something really bad, but sometimes the habits are so deeply engrained, that it feels like no matter how much we try, we’re looping in the same old vicious pattern, over and over and over again.
Yourself improvement plan should be specifically tailored to meet your needs. All people are unique and need to make the changes that are appropriate for their lives and circumstances. With that thought in mind, it is important to research into various sources of information to help with your goals in self improvement as sky is the limit for that. Always have the attitude that you are worth it when working on yourself improvement plan. You owe yourself nothing less than the very best. You will not regret anything if you know that you have done everything that you can do. Everybody needs self-improvisation somewhere. Whether it’s your social skills, you’re talking style, your health or your fitness and nutrition plan, you should start improving the side you need by taking small steps. Don’t think you can skip some stages and improve yourself over night, but by taking that little and sure steps and making goals. All this and much more require motivation and good news being that motivation is also a learnable skill.
