Staying happy all the time is not easy and naturally not possible but I myself have adopted certain ways that keeps me closer to happiness.

“How you smile most of the time? You tell most of the things while keep smile on your face and appear happy” one of my patients asked me on day.

I gave a thought to it… what and how should I answer that?

Because it is certain that, yes I am an optimist. I laugh and take things easy. I focus on the productive parts of life. My glass is half full. But this does not mean that I never get unhappy but my point is that not to pollute the environment with negative attitude. Because things happen and happen with everyone. Just accept it and live the life to fullest.  According to my observation, people usually consider positivity naïve. In my opinion, choosing happiness is sign of wisdom and it is also our choice. It’s much harder to be light than to be heavy, it is just like going down is easier than going up. When we see around, you will see that there are huge number of people around us who are negative and cynical? It takes a lot of inner work and energy to be cheerful and positive, so most people choose not to do it. But when did it become OK for everyone to be so negative all the time? Negativity repels people and these days such negativity has become as if finding an upbeat soul is rare than ever. Which is why it is so awesome if you decide to stand out and be one! Here are the ways that keeps me happier than other people.


I let go the things

I was watching a movie some other day and in that movie, hero was attending a workout class and the instructor told him to imagine as he was punching someone with the weights that he was holding. I imagined that too and amazingly, I couldn’t think of a single person I wanted to punch! How awesome is that? Don’t get me wrong. It doesn’t mean that I never had any such person in my life, I have such people who spoiled my life in past, who have let me down I have such research supervisors I have hated. But I refuse to let them take up any headspace now!
