Not everyone who’s on top today got there with success after success. More often than not, those who history best remembers were faced with numerous obstacles that forced them to work harder and show more determination than others. In this article, I am going to share the success stories of people who overcame on difficulties and showed that devastating failures are just another stop on the road to success.

Miss Zahre (120 160)Albert Einstein – He was not able to speak until he was 4 years old. He did not read until he reached 7 years old. His teachers did not consider him to have a bright future ahead of him. He was considered mentally handicapped by the people around him and at one point; he was even expelled from school. But then one did, and today there are KFC restaurants bearing his image all over the world. Charlie Chaplin‘s act was rejected by executives because they thought it was too obscure for people to understand. But then they took a chance on Chaplin, who went on to become America’s first bona fide movie star.Soichiro Honda was passed over for an engineering job at Toyota and left unemployed.But then he began making motorcycles, started a business and became a billionaire.

Oprah Winfrey was fired from her television reporting job because they told her she wasn’t fit to be on screen.But Winfrey rebounded and became the undisputed queen of television talk shows. She’s also a billionaire.Bill Gates didn’t seem like a shoe-in for success after dropping out of Harvard and starting a failed first business with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen called Traf-O-Data. While this early idea didn’t work, Gates’ later work did, creating the global empire that is Microsoft.He is the second richest person in the world.Steve JobsAfter 30 years old, he was left devastated and depressed after being unceremoniously removed from the company he started. Michael Jordan – This great athlete went on to become arguably the best basketball player of all time. But very few people know that he was cut from the high school basketball team and he cried over it. He has referred to his failure many times in the past and it is where he has always attributed his success.
